FAI UMJ Welcomes the Visit of Somagede Vocational School, Banyumas Regency

 The Faculty of Islamic Religion UMJ  received a visit from SMK Muhammadiyah Somagede , Banyumas, Central Java, in order to see campus facilities, and a presentation about the admissions and learning process in the UMJ Pioneer Building Hall, Wednesday (18/10/23).

Faculty leaders warmly welcomed the group of 50 class XI students and 3 accompanying teachers. Utami, one of the accompanying teachers, revealed that this visit was aimed at getting to know UMJ, especially the Islamic Faculty, as a motivation for students to continue their studies to a higher level and in accordance with the major at SMK Muhammadiyah Somagede, namely the sharia banking study program.

Deputy Dean I Busahdiar, MA., explained that FAI had received many visits from various schools. He also explained that FAI already has several study programs with superior predicate. According to him, before making a choice, the accreditation ranking is very important as a reference. This can be a reference for students to continue their studies. Deputy Dean III Nurhadi, S.Ag., MA, added that in choosing a study program students need to determine the major they are interested in.

On the same occasion, the Head of Sharia Banking Study Program, Dina Febriani, SE, MM provided information about the pathway for accepting new FAI UMJ students, including the regular route and the Muhammadiyah Cadre scholarship program. The visit event was filled with a question and answer session and continued with a tour of the faculty facilities.

PBSI FIP UMJ Lecturers and Students Participate in the Indonesian Media Language and Literature Festival

    Lecturers and students of Indonesian Language and Literature Education,  Faculty of Education, Muhammadiyah University, Jakarta  (PBSI FIP UMJ) took part in the 2023 Language and Literature Festival. SETIAP MALAM ADALAH MALAM TAHUN BARU

  Masyarakat di berbagai belahan dunia biasanya selalu menggelar perhelatan malam pergantian tahun. Termasuk di Indonesia, negara dengan populasi Muslim terbesar di dunia. Oleh karena itu, setiap tahun masih banyak yang membahas bagaimana hukum merayakan malam tahun baru Masehi bagi umat Islam. Namun beda halnya dengan dosen  Fakultas Agama Islam Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta (FAI UMJ)  Dr. Muhammad Choirin, Lc., MA.
