Director of SPs UMJ, Prof. Dr. Masyitoh Chusnan, M.Ag., assessed that the two graduates had their own qualities with different topics of discussion. "Therefore, we invite guest examiners who are appropriate to the topic of the student's dissertation," he said when asked for information after the trial.

The SPs Director who is also Chair of the UMJ Senate hopes that the results of the dissertation research of graduates of the MPI UMJ Doctoral Program will be useful for the people. "One of them is the results of Misbakhul Munir's research which we recommend to make into a book so that it can be read by many people so that it will be more useful," he concluded.

Misbakhul Munir is an MPI Doctoral Program student entering the class of 2021. In a period of two years and three months, Misbakh was able to complete his studies with the dissertation title Human Resource Management (SDI) Maqashid Al Syariah Perspective and Its Implications at the Muhammadiyah Boarding School Ki Bagus Hadikusumo Jampang Bogor.

Misbakh found a connection between maqashid al sharia scholarship and Islamic education management which had previously been considered unrelated. Even in the discussion, the examiners considered that maqashid al sharia in this case could be applied in HR management other than Islamic educational institutions.

"The novel is the SDI or HR portfolio in Islamic educational institutions with the perspective of the five maqashid al sharia . "When these five maqashid al sharia can enter and become a work culture in Islamic educational institutions, God willing, it can lead to institutions that are superior, sustainable and competitive," stressed Misbakh.

The five characters are religious, strong personality, orderliness in all matters related to SDI, strong intellect as shown by the desire to improve abilities, and performance oriented towards productivity and output.

Misbakh admitted that while studying at MPI SPs UMJ, he was greatly helped by the campus environment which was very communicative, interactive and not stiff. This is an encouragement for students to complete their studies.

"I have felt how academic platforms and freedom of opinion are built, including friendly and welcoming management regardless of background. "There is no complicated bureaucracy or rigid communication and this is something that other campuses don't have," he said.

The Doctoral Promotion Open Session on behalf of Muhammad Misbakhul Munir was chaired by the Director of SPs UMJ Prof. Masyitoh Chusnan, M.Ag., and the examining team, namely Prof. Agus Suradika, M.Pd., Prof. Dede Rosyada, MA., Prof. Dr. Suhendar Sulaeman, MS., Dr. Saiful Bahri, Lc., MA., and guest examiner from Yemen Dr. Riyadh Ahmad Diyab.

Meanwhile, Taufik Maulana conducted dissertation research with the title Implementation of the Diniyah Takmiliyah Education Curriculum Management System (Multi Case Study at DT Al Wahdah and DT Al Hikmah Bandung City).

Taufik found that the implementation of the Diniyah Takmiliyah education curriculum management system provided new advantages. This opens up opportunities for improving Islamic education in learning at the Diniyah Takmiliyah educational institution.

The Doctoral Promotion Open Session on behalf of Muhammad Misbakhul Munir was chaired by the Chancellor of UMJ Prof. Dr. Ma'mun Murod, M.Sc., and the examiner team, namely Prof. Masyitoh Chusnan, M.Ag., Prof. Dr. Armai Arief, M.Ag., Prof. Dr. Andriyani, M.Ag., Prof. Agus Suradika, M.Pd., Dr. Saiful Bahri, Lc., MA., as well as guest examiner from the Indonesian University of Education Prof. Udin Saefudin Sa'ud, Ph.D.

Currently, MPI SPs UMJ learning is carried out using two methods, namely online and offline. Masyitoh explained that online learning is still emphasized so that students get to know the campus environment and can have more interaction, discussion and dialogue with lecturers.
